SIFA RECRUITMENT agency and consultants will bring a high level of expertise to the task of finding the best person for a vacancy within the entertainment sector. My organisation will assist in attracting candidates, by using an existing talent pool database of personnel or by advertising under the companies’ banner in areas in which we specialize. Recruiting areas and HR can now be relieved of undertaking a considerable amount of administrative/organisational work, as SIFA Recruitment will provide resources to concentrate on the recruitment task on their behalf. The responsibility for making the final selection recommendation will always be with the client and the decision to appoint will also remain with the client.
Mission
SIFA Recruitment currently runs modules of their workshops to young people, who want to work within the fields of event management and entertainment. Having worked in accelerator programs, SIFA Recruitment currently has approval from IRC approval for Certificate IV in Mobile Entertainment.
This highlights a new training delivery and innovation of a course which has previously been undeveloped. SIFA Recruitment has previously developed and worked with PwC and the IRC to develop units for Certificate IV in Mobile Entertainment. These units have also been developed and certified by ASQUA and have the ability to be extended into units to be added to existing certificates from external training organisations and RTO’s.
According to Trading Economics (2018), the youth long-term unemployment rate is at 12.8%, with many looking to secondary and tertiary education to help them improve this situation. The Department of Jobs and Small Business (2018) indicates there will be a projected increase of 58,000 or 3.4% in Skill Level 3 employment (Certificate III or IV) by 2022. The jobs that are to be filled by these graduates will likely be those with a strong focus on customer service and therefore the need to instill understanding and value of culture, social variations, and social diversity are paramount.
Through SIFA Recruitment’s development of their own IRC-accredited unique course content, it became clear that there was a distinct lack of formalized, accredited training in fields of management, customer service, and events management, particularly those that instill values of culture, social variations, and social diversity.
This project responds to this issue of lack of training for young, long-term unemployed people wanting the opportunity to gain full-time employment in a field where an understanding of customer service, cultural diversity, and event management are key.
