OUR MISSION
The SIFA Academy is born out of passion for premium DJing and showcasing young, upcoming talent to the world. Founded in 2013, SIFA Events has nurtured and promoted new and established DJs across all genres including House, Electro, Trance, Old School and Drum & Bass R’N’B, Hiphop. SIFA created the COKORA administration system to streamline the business activities such as booking and accounts.
In 2016, SIFA Events decided to branch out into the SIFA Academy. The Academy’s mission is to make sure that DJs get the best chance at success. SIFA Academy achieves that end by equipping new DJs with training, experience and opportunities for career advancement with careful management and placements all across Australia.
Our sole mission is to groom artists for the future. We draw back the curtains on the lucrative EDM industry (a $6.2 billion one at 2014 estimates). We are about introducing a new generation to the complexity of live performance through key industry knowledge and by placing them in realistic scenarios. We give budding DJs the chance to pursue what others only dare to imagine.
